Joining the CoC is easy! Anyone interested in joining must complete a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as well as a Conflict of Interest Statement (COI) form and submit them to:

We’re also happy to connect with you by phone or in the community to learn more about you and to explain more about the CoC.

Upon McHenry County CoC acceptance of the forms, the organization or individual immediately becomes a Member of the McHenry County CoC Full Board with all the rights and responsibilities thereof.

Volunteer

You don’t have to join the CoC to help the local homeless. If you’re interested in being plugged into other ways of offering your time and talent, please let us know!

Standing Committee Meetings

When:

Steering Council Committee: Meets on the 1st Thursday of month at 2:00pm
Collaborative Application Committee: Typically meets at least once annually in the summer time.
Community Awareness Committee: Meets on the 3rd Monday of every other month starting in January at 11:00am.
Finance Committee: Typically meets on 1st Friday of each quarter at 11:00am, and as-needed based on funding and other committee responsibilities.
HMIS Committee: Typically meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 10:00am.
Housing and Services Committee: Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month starting in February at 10:00am.
Membership and Nominating Committee: At least once annually and as needed for Annual Meeting and Membership topics.
